Our press shop is equipped with presses capable of pressing at speeds of up to 300 strokes per minute, within tolerances of 20 microns. Strip and coil unwinding systems are used to feed raw materials to the presses.

We maintain a full fledged precious metal plating line capable of plating Rhodium, Ruthenium, Palladium, Gold, Silver, Lead and Tin. The plating process and equipment ensures the precision thickness control and surface finish required in the reed switch technology.

Our 100,000 sq.ft. factory has a built in 20,000 sq.ft. of class 10000 clean room area with positive pressure. Plating and assembly of reed switches are carried out here. Each machine has its own absolute filtration system and laminar air flow to ensure dirt free assembly.

Our tool room is equipped with surface grinding machines, milling machine, spark erosion machines, and CNC machining centers. Manufacture of all assembly and sorting machines, press tools, and molding tools, for the assembly of reed switches, reed sensors and other reed based products are done in house.

Micro processor controlled molding machines are used for the production of all molded parts used for reed sensors, float switches, reed and mercury wetted relays, and magnet sensors. Design of experiments software is used to determine the process settings, and statistical process control is used to maintain it.

PC based life test equipment capable of life testing reed switches and reed sensors from 1W to 120W, at various operating frequencies, are used to field test reed switches under the most harshest of conditions to ensure reliability.

|
Our water treatment plant supplies water of very high quality and low conductivity to the plating shop. This plant also has a facility to treat and recycle the effluents coming out of the plating shop.
