Reed sensors play a vital role in the field of automation, offering reliable, accurate and efficient solutions for position sensing. These devices are used in various applications, including industrial automation, automotive systems, and consumer electronics assembly lines.

In Industrial Automation applications, every hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder or actuator requires a Reed Sensor or a Magnet Sensor for end position sensing. Unlike inductive sensors or Hall-effect sensors, Reed Sensors use no power and have a good isolation. They have high operating speeds, work with a wide range of voltages of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and micro-controllers. Special Ferro-magnetic metal detection Sensors can also detect any ferrous parts and do not require an external magnet for actuation.
