Fork Lifts and Hoists Use Magnet Sensors for End-position Sensing
The hydraulic pistons and cylinders that drive hoists and fork lifts rely on precise positioning for optimal performance. Industrial-grade Magnet Sensors, strategically positioned on the exterior of these components, play a crucial role in sensing both end positions and intermediary positions. These sensors generate signals that are utilized by proportional pressure valves to regulate oil pressure, ensuring precise control and efficient power usage throughout the lifting process.
Given the demanding environments in which these vehicles operate, it’s imperative that the reed switches within the Magnet Sensors are robust and resilient to external contaminants. To safeguard against dirt and debris, these reed switches are hermetically sealed and encapsulated in epoxy, shielding them from environmental factors that could compromise their functionality. Additionally, specially designed Magnet Sensors are employed to withstand higher levels of shock and vibration, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh operating conditions.
The integration of Magnet Sensors into hydraulic systems enhances the safety, efficiency, and reliability of hoists and fork lifts, facilitating smooth and precise material handling operations. By providing accurate positioning feedback and enabling precise control over hydraulic pressure, these sensors contribute to the overall productivity and effectiveness of material transportation processes in industrial settings.
