Operate or Make, is defined as the closing of open reed contacts.
This is applicable to the “closing” of a normally open contact when an actuating magnet is brought into its actuating vicinity, as well as to the “closing” of a normally closed contact when the actuating magnet is taken away from its actuating vicinity.
