Off-Centre Contact Reed Switch, MO-1422
Benefits
Omni-polar. Does not require power for operation. Sputtered Contact. RoHS Compliant. Not ESD Sensitive.
📝Description
The MO-1422 Off-Centre Contact Reed Switch is meticulously engineered for applications requiring high sensitivity to magnet approaches, particularly when the magnet approaches from the seal/lead side. This design ensures optimal performance in scenarios where precise and reliable switching is crucial.
Measurement accuracy is enhanced through careful alignment of the contact overlap portion centered to the length of the test coil. Additionally, all blades within a batch of switches are oriented in the same direction, facilitating consistent in-group measurement accuracy and ensuring reliable performance across various operational conditions.
For applications demanding compactness, the cropped version of the MO-1422 is ideal, fitting seamlessly into smaller plastic housings and supporting direct soldering onto cables for simplified integration. In PCB assembly, the SMD variant supports efficient integration through reflow soldering processes, optimizing manufacturing efficiency and reliability. Moreover, vertical and horizontal mount versions accommodate through hole PCB configurations, offering flexibility in installation orientation to meet specific project requirements.
These versatile features make the Off-centre contact Reed Switch a preferred choice across industries such as automotive electronics, security systems, and medical devices. Its combination of high sensitivity, precise measurement capabilities, and adaptable mounting options ensures consistent and dependable performance in applications where magnet approach sensitivity is critical. Whether integrated into compact consumer electronics or industrial automation systems, this reed switch delivers reliability and durability, meeting the stringent demands of modern technological applications.
