📝Description
This highly sensitive Ultra Miniature reed switch is meticulously engineered for demanding low power, high-speed switching applications, boasting an Operate Time of less than 0.3 milliseconds. Specifically, the 7.0 mm glass variant excels in minimizing Contact Resistance, allowing it to effortlessly handle higher loads up to 10W at 100V, ensuring reliable performance in diverse operating conditions.
The design incorporates flattened leads, facilitating precise orientation during batch assembly processes such as soldering or welding, thereby optimizing sensitivity within groups of switches. For applications requiring compactness, the cropped version of the UM-0018-H ultra miniature reed switch is ideal, fitting seamlessly into smaller plastic housings and offering versatility for direct soldering onto cables.
Furthermore, the SMD version of the switch supports reflow soldering on PCBs, enhancing manufacturing efficiency and reliability in surface-mount technology applications. For traditional through hole PCB setups, both vertical and horizontal mount versions are available, providing flexibility in installation based on specific project requirements.
These features collectively make this ultra-miniature reed switch a preferred choice across various industries, including telecommunications, automotive electronics, and medical devices. Its combination of high sensitivity, rapid switching capabilities, and robust power handling ensures consistent performance in critical applications. Whether integrated into compact consumer electronics or industrial control systems, these reed switches deliver dependable operation and durability, meeting the stringent demands of modern technology.
