UM-0018-H Ultra Miniature Reed Switch
These highly sensitive, Ultra Miniature Form A reed switches are designed for low power, high speed switching applications and have an Operate Time of less than 0.3 milliseconds. The 7.0 mm glass version is built for lower Contact Resistance and can switch higher loads of 10W at 100V. The flattened leads are useful for orienting all reed switches in a batch, in one way, while soldering, welding etc., for maximum in-group sensitivity. The cropped version of this UM-0018-H reed switch is suitable for smaller plastic housings and can be soldered to cables, the SMD version is suitable for reflow on PCBs, and the vertical and horizontal mount versions are suitable for mounting on through hole PCBs.
Benefits
Omni-polar. Does not require power for operation. Sputtered Contact. RoHS Compliant. Not ESD Sensitive.
