This reed switch is designed for applications where a size restriction is present, but a higher Contact Rating and Carry Current capability is required. The blades have a good flexibility, for fast operation and good contact force, and can carry up to 1.5 A. The flattened leads are useful for orienting the internal blades to face one way while soldering, welding etc., for maximum in-group sensitivity. The three different Release AT ranges, cover a wide range of Release AT specific applications. This reed switch can be supplied molded with a 0.25 mm wall around the glass capsule for use in hazardous industrial environments to withstand higher shock and vibration. This reed switch is completely Lead-free and conforms to the RoHS directive. The cropped version is suitable for smaller plastic housings and can be soldered to cables, the SMD version is suitable for reflow on PCBs, and the vertical and horizontal mount versions are suitable for mounting on through hole PCBs.
