HB-2232 Reed Switch with High Breakdown
This HB-2232 Reed Switch with High Breakdown Voltage is designed with highly flexible blades to get maximum contact gap at lower AT ranges. This design offers high break down characteristics. The two types of contacts options available provide breakdown at 350V or 500V minimum. Higher Ampere Turn groups will have even higher breakdown voltage values. Another added advantage is that this HB-2232 Reed Switch can be used in applications with higher shock and vibration as slight blade movement when using lower AT bands will not cause unwanted closures. Of the modified leads available, the cropped version is suitable for smaller plastic housings and can be soldered to cables, the SMD version is suitable for reflow on PCBs, and the vertical and horizontal mount versions are suitable for mounting on through hole PCBs.
Features
High Breakdown Voltage. Ruthenium contact. 22.0 mm Glass length. Normally Open. Inert gas filled. 4 types of Lead Formations.
Benefits
Omni-polar. Does not require power for operation. Sputtered Contact. RoHS Compliant. Not ESD Sensitive.
