Variable Contact Resistance or Delta Contact Resistance, measured in milli-ohms, is the difference between the lowest and the highest Static Contact Resistance reading out of a prescribed set of test cycles.
This is a measure of a reed contact’s contact stability. Four-terminal Sensing and shielded cables should be used for accurate contact resistance measurements.
