The building construction, infrastructure and Security industry require equipment to work reliably in dirty environments, amidst dust, grease, and oil. Unlike optic sensors, Reed Sensors and Magnet Sensors used in dirty greasy environments are maintenance free and do not need any cleaning or other frequent maintenance. Such devices are the best choice when it comes to the construction industry.
We have suggested recommended products for use in each application, but this does not mean that the other products in the same product category will be unsuitable. We have also classified individual applications into types and these guidelines will help select the right magnetic sensitivity and type of magnet to use from our range of products.
