Pressing as a First Step in Reed Switch Manufacturing

Sensor manufacturing requires ensuring the final products exceed quality standards. For this, the first step of pressing is extremely critical as all other processes rely on the quality of pressing.

The journey begins with the pressing of special magnetic alloy—an indispensable step in crafting reliable Reed Switches and Magnet Sensors.

These alloys, purchased in wire form, are meticulously straightened using dual spin straighteners to eliminate any imperfections.

This ensures that when the wires are pressed and cropped into individual parts, they maintain excellent straightness and meet drawing tolerances.

Why is Pressing Important?

Foundation of Pressing
The accuracy of Tungsten Carbide tools in the pressing process directly impacts the final product. Any deviation, however minor, can reflect on the surface of the contact, affecting the performance of the sensor.

Perfect Cropping
Cropping the wire into individual parts without leaving burrs is about ensuring that each part functions flawlessly as a cantilever assembly

High-speed Efficiency
The pressing process isn’t just about precision; it’s also speed too. Achieving both at scale is what sets our products apart in a competitive market.

Each of these steps are meticulously monitored to ensure that the final sensors performs exactly as expected, time after time.

It’s this attention to detail that has positioned us as a leader in the industry.
