πDescription
The UM-0018-M Ultra Miniature Reed Switch is engineered specifically for high-speed signal load switching, boasting an impressive Operate Time of less than 0.3 milliseconds. This rapid response time makes it ideal for applications requiring swift and reliable operation. Capable of handling loads up to 5W at 100V, it ensures robust performance even under demanding conditions.
The flattened leads facilitate efficient orientation during batch assembly, enhancing sensitivity and ease of integration. For compact applications, variants with cropped leads are available, enabling seamless integration into smaller plastic housings or direct soldering onto cables. Additionally, they are compatible with SMT PCBs, featuring slots for versatile mounting options.
In manufacturing processes, the SMD version of the UM-0018-M supports reflow soldering, ensuring secure and efficient attachment to SMT PCBs. Meanwhile, vertical and horizontal mount versions cater to through hole PCB applications, offering flexibility in installation methods based on project requirements.
These features collectively make the ultra-miniature UM-0018-M an excellent choice for applications across various industries, including telecommunications, automotive electronics, and consumer electronics. Its combination of high-speed switching capability, robust power handling, and versatile mounting options positions it as a reliable solution for demanding signal switching needs. Whether for compact consumer devices or industrial automation systems, this ultra miniature reed switch delivers consistent performance and durability.
