📝Description
The SM-1322 Sub Miniature Reed Switch, designed in a Form A configuration, features a robust 2.25 mm diameter glass with enhanced wall thickness, ensuring superior glass-to-metal seals. This construction makes it particularly well-suited for general-purpose applications in high-volume settings where minimal shock and vibration tolerance are essential, such as in toys and other consumer electronics. Its center contact design further extends its utility, making it suitable for coil applications where reliability in electrical contact is paramount.
To accommodate diverse application needs, this sub miniature reed switch offers three distinct Release AT ranges, providing flexibility to match specific operational requirements. For applications requiring higher voltage handling capabilities, a specially sputtered contact variant is available, optimized for switching up to 230 VAC line voltages, ensuring safe and efficient operation in varied electrical environments.
In terms of assembly and integration, the cropped version of the SM-1322 is tailored for compact installations within smaller plastic housings, offering ease of integration through direct soldering onto cables. For PCB-based applications, the SMD version supports reflow soldering processes, facilitating efficient and reliable integration onto surface-mount technology boards. Additionally, vertical and horizontal mount versions cater to through hole PCB configurations, providing flexibility in installation orientation based on specific project requirements.
These versatile features collectively position the SM-1322 Sub Miniature Reed Switch as a dependable choice across industries such as consumer electronics, automotive components, and industrial controls. Its combination of robust design, flexible contact configurations, and adaptable mounting options ensures consistent performance and reliability in demanding applications, meeting the stringent standards of modern electronic devices and systems.
